Wear to find an inexpensive pier fishing cart?
I want to get my dad a pier fishing cart for fathers day, something that can hold 6 rods, a cooler, tackle box, bait bucket, and some other supplies.... I can't spend more than $100, any suggestions?
Best saltwater reel for under 100 bucks. Mainly pier fishing in florida. Typically the sunshine skyway.?

hey i have two reels but im not sure what to pick...one of them is really heavy but good its the penn 750 SS my other one is lightweight but its hard to reel cause the handle is smaller then regular so please help..does the reel of the weight really matter for saltwater fishing off a pier or surf fishing? please help

I've been fishing at the pier for some time now. I used a sabiki rig and shrimp for bait. I've decided to use squid instead of shrimp, just to see if there is a difference. I usually catch mackerel, and rarely calico bass I live in southern California . And will I catch any halibut with dead squid on a halibut rig? If not, what's the best way?

I'll go pier fishing for the first time with my friends 2 days later.But we're still deciding which pier to go to.Basically, any pier in between Los Angeles area and Irvine area. orange county, near Newport will do, but maybe in the midpoint.I've heard that fish come out a lot during morning and night, but we have to go at late morning maybe 9am or even noon 12 pm Also, I hope it's not too crowded, because we have about 8 people in the group.Considering all these, which pier do you think is the best?So far, I found seal beach and belmont beach just because I've never heard of them .Any ideas?

California pier fishing - Halibut with fake lure?
I've been saltwater fishing about 6 months now, I recently saw an old man catch a 32" Halibut, using a fake rubber fish body with a hook protruding from it. All he was doing was casting out on a spinning reel a good distance, then simply reeling back in. I've been using live fresh bait since I started. Do you have a fair amount of success pier fishing with fake lures? I can imagine it might resemble a fish swimming when being reeled in, but it doesnt smell or taste like it. Pier Fishing Reel Guide?
I was woundering weather i can use my zebco carp cool viper 150 reel as a reel to go pier fishing?Obiviously i would be changing the main line to a stronger heavy line just want to know if it was possible.I currently have it filled with a 10lb main line for carping as im woundering if it would hole 20lb aswell?

I am going pier fishing this summer and i haven't tried it before, I have seen it on youtube done a little research and have been on piers watching people fish but still have questions. I am going in middle of July with my friends in Daytona Beach at Main Street Pier. I have 1 7 ft. spinning fishing rod that i use for bass and small fish at a lake near my house. I have some small bait and lures but will get some saltwater baits. I will get a 7' cast net to catch some live bait in the waves. I will also get some good size hooks to use for the bait. I am wondering if i need to get a bigger rod like a 10 ft. medium size spinning rod or something else. I also am wondering what size line to get like 30 lb tested or 50 lb tested. What other gear would i need to get? Also what kind of fish could i find off of the pier? Any comments, websites and suggestions will be much appreciated.
Regulations at Redondo Beach Pier Fishing?
Hello, I'm wondering what's todays fish size limits and the Redondo Beach pier fishing rules since I'm very new and going tonight. I already know that you don't need a fishing license at the pier for crabbing and fishing, but are there any special rules or things I should watch out for besides where I fish, how I fish, and when I fish? Thanks
