Is gary y.'s swim senko in green pumpkin the best fishing lure for bass ever?

Question: Is gary y.'s swim senko in green pumpkin the best fishing lure for bass ever?

I thought the 5 " senko in green pumpkin was the best sinking bass worm type lure, BUT then they came out with the swimming senko and now it is the best top water "baby snake " lure ever for Florida. Do you know a better all round lure?

Not the best ever, but one of the most expensive. The term "better " can't really be applied because a lure that catches fish like crazy one trip may not produce on another trip. I always let the fish decide what is the better lure for that particular day and fishing conditions. But there are times when it seems that one particular lure will catch fish at a faster rate then most other lures will, but I have found it may do that for one, two or three years and then will just quit producing all of a sudden. The " best ever " lure for about 3 years in my area was the Stanley Ribbit Frog. Now you are lucky if you can even get a strike on it. Bass just seems like you can never fully understand them. That's what makes it so much fun and challenging.

Personally i like yum dingers better because of the rate at wich they sink. Like dum dum said its all about where you fish and thy conditions you fish. good luck

I like the cheapo Fresh Water Basics tube jigs in a few different colors they have produced some VERY nice river smallies and river walleyes for me. i also like a big bag of old rubber worms i found in my grandparents garage they work good too
